This issue explores how digital culture reshapes identity, power, and social relations in networked societies. Drawing on discourse analysis, feminist theory, genealogical inquiry, and communication studies, the five articles examine a range of contemporary phenomena — from parent-child communication mediated by internet use to the ethical dimensions of gaming and social media, to the identity politics of Generation Z, the commodity logic embedded in influencer culture, and the epistemic regimes governing financial literacy discourse. Together, they offer critical perspectives on how meaning, subjectivity, and power are negotiated in an increasingly mediated world.
